Director, Global Telecoms and Client Services (ITSGC), World Bank Group Information and Technology Solutions
Mr. Naser Alizadeh assumed the role of the Global Telecoms and Client Services Director in July 2013. He manages workplace provisioning, unified communications, network engineering, client services, Chennai operations, and infrastructure delivery and operations. Prior to this position, Mr. Alizadeh served as the IFC Chief Information Officer and Director of the Corporate Business Technologies Department.
Mr. Alizadeh joined the World Bank Group in 1991 as part of IFC’s initiative to modernize the institution’s IT capabilities in support of the expanding business operations. He has since held various positions within IFC’s IT organization in progressively more challenging technical and leadership roles, managing a wide range of IT services such as Application Development and Support, Client Services and IT Infrastructure.
Mr. Alizadeh has played a key role in creating The World Bank Group’s shared IT Services.

Prior to joining IFC, Mr. Alizadeh worked as a Telecommunications and Electrical Engineer on projects for NASA and USAID.

Mr. Alizadeh, an Iranian-born American national, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Howard University, as well as graduate studies in Computer Systems Engineering at George Mason University, and Executive MBA from Georgetown University.
